Los Angeles-based Babylon Warriors have been together since 1978  The Babylon Warriors exude a highly personalized, mesmerizing reggae. Babylon Warriors lead singer Harrington Trapp, waving a finger in admonishment to oppressors or clenching a fist, urging the unification of his fellow man on songs like "One Love".

Reggae Mayday, May 1st, 1981 Dancing, Partying and Loving peoples of Santa Barbara, UCSB and Isla Vista, the kids and big folks of the Isla Vista Childrens Center, A.S. and KTYD present REGGAE MAYDAY: a benefit reggae dance concert starring the Babylon Warriors.

1981 "Mimi" Izumi Kobayashi &
             Babylon Warriors

"Mimi" Izumi Kobayashi was in Los Angeles from Japan in 1981 to record her new album . Mimi visited the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood where The UB40 and the Babylon Warriors were performing together for three nights. After attennding the concert for two nites and was very impressed by the performances of the Babylon Warriors.  The Warriors and Mimi signed a contract to do one of her song LAZY LOVE in Reggae style, which was released in Japan on Kitty's Record (distributed by Polydor Europe) on the album title (Coconut High).

1986 "1st Annual LA Marathon"

The Babylon Warriors  performed "Dread Reggae" at the coner of Pico and Crenshaw Blvd. for the first LA Marathon in 1986
